We believe books are meant to shape how we live: what we notice, what we question, and how we understand one another. That belief guides what we put on our shelves, from translated fiction and independent presses to books on art, design, and everyday life.
CURATED READS FOR CURIOUS MINDS
We’ve loved selling books since 2020, when we began in a tiny former filling station on Highway 90 in Marfa. Our name nods to the stop-and-go shops our founder grew up around in Maryland, with a small change of plans: here, we hope you’ll linger.
Today, you’ll find us in downtown Marfa and at Westside Market in Austin. Come with a title in mind or a little time to spare. We’re happy to help you find a book that stays with you.
